Dr. Joseph Sansevere is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon with a deep passion for both the art of surgery and building a practice dedicated to clinical excellence.
About Dr. Sansevere
Dr. Sansevere was drawn to oral and maxillofacial surgery because of its unique blend of medicine and dentistry and the profound impact it can have on a patient's quality of life. He was fascinated with the complexity of facial anatomy and the ability to treat a wide variety of conditions, from missing teeth to congenital defects, making the specialty both intellectually challenging and deeply rewarding. Driven by a strong passion for entrepreneurship, he founded the practice to shape the patient experience, build a dedicated team, and serve his community in a meaningful way.
The most rewarding part of his profession is the unique opportunity to make a difference every day through a blend of surgical precision, medical knowledge, and patient care. He prioritizes the comfort and emotional well-being of his patients, especially those who experience anxiety. His team is committed to creating a calming environment where each individual receives compassion, empathy, and attentive listening to ensure a safe, comfortable, and stress-free experience.
Education & Residency
Dr. Sansevere earned his Bachelor's in Biology from Montclair State University. He then received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, he completed his comprehensive oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine.

Outside the Office
Dr. Sansevere enjoys spending his time outdoors and staying active. He is an avid saltwater fisherman and also enjoys playing golf. At home, he likes to stay hands-on as a DIY repairman, always tackling new projects and finding satisfaction in fixing or improving things around the house.
