Dr. Matthew Sansevere

Dr. Matthew Sansevere was born and raised in New Jersey. He attended Dickinson College in Pennsylvania and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, all while competing on the Cross Country and Track & Field team for four years. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the Dental College of Georgia. Following his time in Augusta, GA he moved to Philadelphia, PA where he completed a four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year.
During residency he received extensive training in the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, including dental implant therapy, management of impacted teeth, orthognathic surgery, reconstruction of the jaws with bone and soft tissue grafting, diagnosis and management of oral pathology, surgical management of temporomandibular joint disorders and administration of IV sedation and general anesthesia in the office setting.
In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Sansevere is dedicated to providing compassionate care and building strong relationships with his patients. He believes in a patient-centered approach and is committed to ensuring the highest standards of safety and comfort.
Dr. Sansevere is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the NJ Dental Association (NJDA) and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS). He maintains certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Dr. Sansevere is an avid golfer and enjoys surfing in the summer and skiing in the winter, as well as spending time with his wife, Diana, and dog, Palmer.
