Travis Reed,
DMD
Dr. Travis Reed is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who is passionate about serving the community where he grew up and providing exceptional surgical care in a family practice.
About Dr. Reed
Dr. Reed’s journey in oral surgery began right here at our practice. His mother served as the office manager for West Jersey OMS for over 20 years, giving him many opportunities to work in the office and gain insight into the specialty during high school and college. Once he experienced the surgical side of dentistry, he knew he had found his calling and never looked back. After completing his residency in 2018, he was thrilled to join the practice officially, having built a strong relationship and mentorship with Dr. Joseph Sansevere over many years.
The most rewarding part of his profession is helping others and being an active part of the community. This philosophy is evident in his patient care. Anxious patients can expect a calming environment from the entire team, as they are treated like family from the moment they arrive. Dr. Reed and the team guide each patient through their experience and answer all questions and concerns every step of the way to make the process as comfortable as possible.
Education & Residency
Dr. Reed began his education at Montclair State University, where he earned both a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in Biology. He then received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in 2014. Following dental school, he completed his comprehensive residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in 2018.

Dr. Reed is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also an active member of many professional organizations, including:

Outside the Office
Dr. Reed enjoys spending his free time with his wife, their three boys, and their two dogs. He loves both playing and watching sports and is actively involved in the community as a coach for multiple youth teams.
