Introduction

Background Information
Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires four additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. We practice a broad scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery relating to the mouth, teeth, jaw and facial regions. This includes tooth extractions, bone and soft tissue grafts, dental implant surgery, wisdom teeth removal, apicoectomy, orthodontic exposures, placement of temporary anchorage devices (TADs), and biopsies. In addition, our team of Surgeons diagnoses and treats facial pain, facial injuries and TMJ disorders.
Our state-of-the-art imaging technology includes panoramic and cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) scan with computer-based virtual implant surgery.
Surgical & Administrative Staff
The entire staff is Healthcare BLS certified and trained in the use of the AED (Defibrillator).
The surgical staff at West Jersey Oral Surgeons are experienced and certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants who assist in administration of IV sedation and surgery. Our administrative staff are informed and well-versed in dental and medical insurance policies.
